Listen to Jack White Radio on iHeartRadio

Jack White will be taking the mound at his hometown baseball park this week.  The rocker has been tapped to throw out the first pitch at Tuesday's Detroit Tigers game, and he's planning to bring some music with him too.

White's Third Man Records says the Rolling Record Store truck will be parked outside Comerica Park before the game against the Chicago White Sox.  But White isn't just in Detroit for the baseball.  He's also scheduled to put on a pair of concerts, including Wednesday night's gig at the historic Masonic Temple Theatre.

Meanwhile, one of Jack's fellow rock stars was enjoying a little baseball last week.  Pearl Jam's Eddie Vedder threw out the first pitch at the Chicago Cubs game on Thursday, and then led Wrigley Field in a rendition of "Take Me Out to the Ballgame" during the seventh inning stretch.
