Paul GloverPaul Glover was born July 18, 1947 and lives in Germantown, Philadelphia. A native of Ithaca, N.Y., and a longtime social entrepreneur, Glover is the founder of more than a dozen organizations and campaigns that promote ecology and social justice, including Ithaca Hours local currency, the Philadelphia Orchard Project, Patch Adams Free Clinic in North Philadelphia, Citizen Planners of Los Angeles and the Ithaca Health Alliance. Glover is a former adjunct professor of urban studies at Temple University, with degrees in Marketing and in City Management. He is also the author of several books about grassroots power, and published Green Jobs Philly News. Glover ran for mayor of Ithaca in 2003 and walked across the United States in 1978.
