(Pittsburgh, PA) -- Heinz Field is going to get to keep its famous name for at least another year. The Steelers and the Kraft Heinz Company announced yesterday that the field will be keeping its name through the 2021 season after the two parties signed a one-year extension. For right now, no other suitors to rename the stadium have been reported.

(Pittsburgh, PA) -- A Pittsburgh Steelers fan is getting one step closer to fan-immortality. The Ford Hall of Fans named 25-year-old Justin Laveing as one of six nominees for the honor yesterday. Laeving is being recognized for coordinating COVID-safe autograph signings and tailgating parties for a Steelers fan club that has over two-thousand members in it. He has also donated revenue from the autograph signings to help Toy for Tots and homeless veterans throughout the year. Laeving was nominated for the Hall of Fans by Pittsburgh legendary wide receiver Lynn Swann this past November. Steelers fans are being encouraged to vote for Laeving on the Ford Hall of Fans' website. The inductees will be announced during the week of the Super Bowl.

(Philadelphia, PA) -- The wins are stacking up for the Philadelphia 76ers. Philly beat the Washington Wizards last night 141-to-136 despite surrendering 60 points to Wizards star Bradley Beal. Joel Embiid led the way for the Sixers with 38 points and eight rebounds while Ben Simmons finished with a double-double. The 76ers will take on the Brooklyn Nets tonight at 7:30 on T-N-T.

(Voorhees, NJ) -- Nolan Patrick left the ice after a hard hit but did not miss a shift in the Flyers' 50-minute scrimmage yesterday. Patrick collided with Orange teammate Samuel Morin, who is listed at 6-foot-7, 230 pounds. Patrick sat out all of last season with a migraine disorder. The Orange won the scrimmage 4-2. Andy Andreoff, Linus Sandin, Ivan Provorov and Joel Farabee scored for the Orange.

(Pittsburgh, PA) -- The Steelers will face AFC North rival Browns on Sunday night at Heinz Field in the Wild Card game. Pittsburgh is the number three seed after losing four of its final five games to land at 12-and-4. The Steelers ended the regular season with a 24-22 loss to Cleveland, which is seeded sixth at 11-and-5.

(Syracuse, NY) -- Au'Diese Toney made the go-ahead shot with eight seconds left for Pittsburgh's first lead as it edged by Syracuse 63-60 on the road. Ithiel Horton led Pitt with 14 points. Toney dropped 12 points and seized 14 rebounds. The Panthers erased an 18-point deficit to jump to 6-and-2. They'll host number-22 Florida State on Saturday.
