(Mechanicsburg, PA) -- Cumberland Valley has limped out of Monday's first round of the PIAA Class 3A Team Wrestling Championships with a 44-14 loss at the hands of Canon-McMillan. The Big Macs rolled to wins in six of the first seven bouts of the night against the short-handed Eagles and won nine of 13 overall to advance to the first round of the tournament. That kicks off Thursday at Hershey's Giant Center. For the Eagles, it was their ninth dual meet in a span of 13 days, which included four wins and a third-place finish at last week's District 3 championships. The team now has 12 full days to rest, recoup and sharpen up for the sectional tournament.
