Colin Cowherd Says James Harden Will Never Be Known as a 'Winner'

Colin Cowherd: “We have now come to terms on what James Harden is. A ‘really stylish scorer’. He’s great at it, and it matters, it sells tickets, and I think he’s a first ballot Hall of Famer, but is he a winner? NO. Is he gonna make a big stop in the playoffs? NO.Make others better? No, not really. Easy to play with? Debatable… I can’t take the Rockets team seriously. The owner wants one thing, the GM wants another, the coach wants another, and Harden wants another. “ (Full Video Above)

Listen to Colin Cowherd explain why he doesn’t believe former league MVP James Harden will ever become a ‘winner’ in the NBA, as the three-time reigning scoring champion heading towards a fourth is seemingly treading water among the Western Conference elites in the prime of his career.

Harden will turn 31 in August but doesn’t appear any closer to a championship than he was at the age of 21 playing for the Oklahoma City Thunder alongside Kevin Durant, Russell Westbrook, and Serge Ibaka.

The Rockets are currently the number 5 seed in the Western Conference, and as a franchise have not reached the NBA Finals since 1995.

Check out the video above as Colin details why Harden will never be in the same class as LeBron James, Kawhi Leonard, and Durant among the game’s best players who can actually win their teams rings.
