Philadelphia Eagles GM Howie Roseman indicated that they would be sticking with Jalen Hurts as their starting quarterback next season and Doug Gottlieb isn’t convinced Hurts can do the job. He saw that Hurts was badly exposed by the Buccaneers defense and believes he simply doesn’t have the skills to be a starter in the NFL. Doug thinks the Eagles are wearing ‘Rose’-man colored glasses when it comes to Hurts.
Doug Gottlieb: “You’re so convinced that you found a diamond. (Jalen Hurts) looks the part, he sounds the part; sometimes he even feels the part. But...the lack of accuracy, the lack of feel as a passer, it just got badly exposed.”
