Watch A Vegas Shooting Victim Reunite With The Man Who Rescued Him

As many terrible and sad stories as there are coming out of the Las Vegas shooting, there are also ones that give us faith in humanity. Here's one of those.

Tom McIntosh was helping people escape the line of fire by getting them over a wall to safety when he was shot in the leg. He managed to get over the wall himself but was bleeding too much to get any farther. That's when James Lawson came by. Lawson, a stranger, stopped and used his Army Reserves training as an EMT to make a tourniquet with a belt for Tom and get him on his way to the hospital.

This morning, the pair reunited on the Today show.

As Lawson said, "There’s got be hundreds of stories like this one," and here's hoping we hear more of them.
