Former NFL star Aaron Hernandez's suicide notes are being made public. After three seasons with the New England Patriots, Hernandez wound up serving a life sentence in prison for murder. He killed himself while behind bars in April of 2017. His lawyer, Jose Baez, has written a new book about his experience with the case, titled Unnecessary Roughness: Inside the Trial and Final Days of Aaron Hernandez.
According to the New York Post, the book contains three letters Hernandez wrote the night he died, including one to Baez. The others were addressed to Hernandez's fiancee and his now 5-year-old daughter.
