Kelsey Plum, a professional basketball player, has achieved remarkable success in her career, earning All-American honors, a WNBA Championship, and Olympic gold medals. Born into an athletic family, Plum initially pursued volleyball before transitioning to basketball during high school.

During her time at the University of Washington, Plum set records, becoming the highest-scoring player in National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) history with a total of 3,527 points. She also set a new single-season NCAA scoring record by scoring 1,109 points in 2017, earning her Player of the Year and All-American honors.

In 2017, the San Antonio Stars selected Plum as the first overall pick in the WNBA Draft. After being named the league's Rookie of the Year, the team relocated and became the Las Vegas Aces. Despite an Achilles tendon injury in 2020, Plum returned in 2021 with career-high numbers and earned the WNBA Sixth Player of the Year award. In 2022, she played a key role in the Aces' first WNBA title and was named All-Star MVP following her first All-Star team selection. In 2023, the Aces retained their crown, becoming the first team in over two decades to win back-to-back WNBA championships.

Plum has also found success overseas, helping Fenerbahçe to the Turkish Super League title in both 2017-18 and 2018-19. She also had a stint with the Istanbul-based team Galatasaray in early 2022.

On the global stage, Plum first helped the United States win the gold medal at Lithuania's 2013 U19 World Championship. She was part of USA's triumphant 2018 FIBA World Cup squad before leading her nation to 3x3 Basketball gold at Tokyo 2020. In 2022, she helped Team USA retain their FIBA World Cup crown in Australia.
