The Los Angeles Lakers demolished the Denver Nuggets over the weekend, a team that has been on a heater, having won their last nine games before running into the Lakers’ buzz saw. After watching the Lakers’ performance with Luka Dončić now completely up to speed, Dan is convinced LA has a real shot to compete for a championship this year.
Dan Patrick: “Luka (Dončić) doesn’t play defense; LeBron (James) can. This is where the younger guys really have to almost inspire the other players, LeBron and Luka, to play some defense here. If they play defense, with the other weapons that they have, in the West, they can challenge for a championship.”
