Kyler Murray is officially on the IR so he’ll miss at least the next four weeks of the season and DP has questions for the Arizona Cardinals, starting with why on earth did they give him a long-term contract in the first place? Murray has never shown the kind of leadership needed in a franchise quarterback and this is just the latest incident in his unpromising career.
Dan Patrick: “Kyler Murray; you have a clause in his contract that says no video games, you must study… You gotta put in a clause in his contract to say, hey, can you do less video (games), more studying? That’s not somebody I want! And look, I don’t know how he is in the locker room, he doesn’t strike me as a leader. If you play well, it’s amazing how good your leadership is, but he’s not playing well and now the foot just got worse? And now he’s out for four more games, four more weeks? Man, this is how coaches get fired.”
