A Harrisburg woman, Lauren Hill, 23, is facing serious charges, including attempted homicide, after allegedly shooting at an occupied vehicle late Tuesday night (April 22) on the 1000 block of Market Street. According to Harrisburg Police, Hill got into an argument with the driver of a Honda CR-V before pulling a handgun from her purse and firing two shots. The gunfire shattered the vehicle's rear windshield, but no injuries were reported.
Hill is charged with two counts of attempted homicide, aggravated assault, and illegal possession of a firearm, as she did not have a valid license to carry a gun. Additionally, she faces charges of recklessly endangering another person and criminal mischief. She was arraigned on Wednesday and is currently held in Dauphin County Prison with bail set at $300,000.
A preliminary hearing for Hill is scheduled for May 19.
