>>Pennsylvania State Police Continue Click It Or Ticket Campaign This Week
(Harrisburg, PA) -- The Pennsylvania State Police are joining law enforcement agencies across the nation in continuing the Click It or Ticket campaign this week. The initiative runs now through June first. Troopers are enforcing the state's seat belt law and promoting proper usage of child safety seats. Drivers are reminded to buckle up and follow traffic rules to maintain safety and avoid citations.
State troopers from Pennsylvania and five other states are launching a campaign today (May 19) to emphasize the enforcement of safety belt laws. The initiative, known as the 6-State Trooper Project, will run through May 26 and includes participation from law enforcement in Ohio, West Virginia, Michigan, Kentucky, and Indiana.
The 6-State Trooper Project is a collaborative effort that not only focuses on highway safety but also includes criminal patrol and information sharing among the participating states. The project seeks to provide comprehensive law enforcement and security services to improve road safety and compliance with traffic laws.
